The Aidan Charitable Trust was founded in 2000 with a desire to enable the marginalised to flourish, inspired by the Christian faith and values of its founding Trustees, including the belief that everyone matters and should have the opportunity to thrive.
Consultation
The Aidan Trust approached me to design and develop a landing page for their charity. They already had a logo and information that they wanted to include in the page along with some graphics. We discussed the main purpose for the landing page and the preferred actions and desired results from any users once they have found the website.
Development
After several rounds of information gathering and brainstorming, I prepared a first draft of the landing page using the information supplied. During this process, working closely with The Aidan Trust, I kept in mind the corporate colours and ensured that any requested functionality such as an information gathering form for prospective projects was included.
Launch & after care
Keeping to the project timeline, after testing the site, correcting any bugs and ensuring that the responsive design worked across all browser sizes, I provided the ability for The Aidan Trust to make updates to the website themselves via a user login. As part of aftercare, I regularly check to see if the site is fully up-to-date with the latest version of any resources and functioning correctly.
