Image Manipulation

How can we help you?
Using the latest digital tools, we can create image manipulations, photomontages, collages, edit and restore images and background and create bespoke art for a project.

The camera (or image) never lies…

Of itself, perhaps this statement remains true. However, equip someone with the latest digital technology, and things can start to look different very quickly! Whether for a book cover, a brochure, a website or any print or digital asset, we can create artwork and change images to suit. We can also source royalty free images for a project. When it comes to photography, we always say it is better to get the image you want straight from the lens. Manipulating real-world photographs will only ever be second best to a perfect original shot. There is a lot you can do in post-production, but there is also a lot you can’t.

There are three main types of image manipulation and sourcing we do. Find out more below…

Image Manipulation and collage

We can take an image and alter it to fit, or move items (where possible), combine items or change colours for a design. The possibilities are endless, but it is important to remain level headed, otherwise a design can quickly be compromised. Image manipulation for graphic design is most often a tool to be used only in the context of, and to enhance the overall design.

Digital Art

Digital art might typically be used for a display, or to produce a book cover, background or to create a bespoke piece of artwork. Like fine art, digital art can encompass many different techniques and styles. Digital art can be very clever and unique – you can do things with digital art that would be much harder using physical art and take a lot longer – and vise-versa. There are also times when digital art lends itself to a design.

Image Sourcing

Image sourcing involves initial consultation with a client about the requirments they have such as the look and feel of the design, the message they want to convey, the mood they would like to set etc. From the information gathering, extensive research and searches can be done via photolibraries, photographers and illustrators to find matches for the brief, or ideas and concepts for presentation and selection.

Creative Bytes brings to every project a rare combination of creative flair, technical expertise and attention to detail. They are 100% professional and thoroughly reliable; but at the same time truly creative – able to follow and interpret briefs but also to volunteer different approaches, often hitting the perfect design solution from their own ideas. Highly recommended!
